“Gratitude Creates” : A beginner’s date with Destiny!

When I began writing Dear God Letters or Letters to the Universe… I had no clue… that many years later… I’d be encouraging and inspiring many people to write their own letters to God and if directed to ask… call or ping me… for a deeper in-sight. The angels are sending me loads of people to work with… the subtle shift in energies is in full sway and in keeping with the intent to invite more people to a personal relationship with God…

It has been fascinating to be able to assist in correct the vibrational gaps of thought. Often, a request, made, is delayed in manifesting itself, for the one reason we most MISS out in understanding… the vibration of the self when asking and yes a deeper understanding of the language or tone in which the asking is initiated. The very simple shift is in learning to read between out words and understand the vibrational “gap”, causing the delay.

Very recently, I figured out a personal boo boo and realised, that I was really standing in the way of my own POWER, because I had chosen to hold on to the PAIN of the PAST and not make place for the GOOD GOD all-ways had in store for me. MY deep Gratitude to my relationship with God, Jesus and the angels and the many people who have “delivered” messages and experiences unto me that I may now, share this with others. Sometimes, the best inner release is to write what you think you know… and then allow GOD, The angels and Heaven to extend their assistance. The situation does not change… most often it is the way you begin to understand it that transforms. To keep it simple and effective… I am experimenting with a Project… “Gratitude Creates” a 3 hour programme of Gratitude each month… the opening event will be with 20 people only and the date will be announced when the 20th Person registers. To keep it simple and very effective … the 20 person team who is part of the event… will personally be given the details of the venue and time. While I would like to do this with many… I understand and know that the GIVING & RECEIVING has to be a choice you make and the intent will flow into experience.

It is  a paid event Rs. 2100 per person for a “date with Gratitude” where I will assist you into initiating your being into a personal experience with Gratitude. I have had a chance to experience this phenomenon both personally and with a whole lot of people I work with… and the beauty of the results is that it has been a huge learning process for me too and now, I would like to share this experience with YOU, who choose to begin an experience of Gratitude led interactions with your Higher Self, God, the Angels. I  work purely on Intent and In the Indian Context I do Understand, that the INTENT is shown in PAYING UP for services, because, that is when you HONOUR your SELF and the SERVICE BEING GIVEN and RECEIVED!

Awestruck Tourist: “Blessings in Disguise”

There is a new lesson at work… “Blessings in Disguise”… it is like there is part of me, that is connecting to a higher vibration of BeIng! We hear often, that everything that happens, well, is a “blessing in disguise” and so, my lesson over the last few months has been “learning to unlearn” the literal meaning, or the “hue-man” meaning and draw a more “infinite invisible” and “In-Finite In-Visible”

Cleansing is an “unlearning” process, that is guided by the force withIN YOU. In this process, you learn about beliefs or vibrations of collective thought, that are BE-COMING into things and and all these things are BE-Cause you have called upon them to BE-Come into your life. By the co_creator potential within YOU! It is time to draw your “awareness” to your “asking” and when you KNOW what you are asking, that is when you will BE-ABLE to Ac-knowledge or ACCUMULATE-KNOWLEDGE that it is already “present”, for most times, our “EXPECTATIONS” or our HOW it should arrive (human perception) blocks our ABILITY to “accumulate knowledge” of the receiving and so we “miss” out on “ACCEPTING”.

If God, is “infinite invisible”, therefore, our looking for “finite visible” answers is a MISNOMER, for when the infinite invisible provides, it is a feeling that is transmitted to the “finite visible” through the “in-finite in-visible”, when acknowledged and accepted, begins to take “finite visible” form, that which we call manifestation or a miracle. Yet, the atonement (Origin:
1505–15; from phrase at one in harmony + -ment, as translation of Medieval Latin adūnāmentum; compareMiddle English onement unity)  A-TONE-MEANT is when the “infinite invisible” vibration of a thought is transferred from the “finite visible” through the “in-finite in-visible” and the “infinite invisible” vibration of completion is released.

So, really, when we ASK, we go through the “in-finite in-visible” our first responses are received through the same source, the “in-finite in-visible”, so, before we see the manifest in the form that is accepted “that the eyes can see, the nose can smell, the hands can touch and the tongue can taste and the ears can hear”… we are given “in-tuition” “in-tent” “in-formation” “in-sight” “in-turnALL know, that it IS ready, “perfect, whole, complete” in the “infinite invisible”, waiting for you to acknowledge the vibration in “in-finite in-visible”, that you may then “radiate and celebrate” it in its “physical form” or “finite visible” form, through you! The PHYSICAL OUTCOME is YOUR INDIVIDUAL perspective, that is “HOW YOU SEE IT” and not necessarily “HOW IT IS” or “WHO IT IS”, the final outcome is another way or as it is beautifully expressed in the following quote:

“Blessings in Disguise” or “Blessings in “this-guise”, is the ability to take that “A-Tone-Meant” to assist you to first grasp the “In-Finite In-Visible” vibration of the “infinite invisible” perspective and to Re:Main, Re-Member, Re-Allign your “finite visible” “receiving”!

A blessing in disguise, is a gift of the IN-Tent, IN-tuition, In-formation, In-form-action that you have been given in response to your asking. Re-Cognize their “sign-If-can-see” or significance.

“The simple joy of receiving and unwrapping a gift - something that us privileged people take for granted”: Souradipta Chandra

I remember receiving a call from Dr. Souradipta Chandra, he introduced himself as Dr. Shaurya and he asked, if he could stop by at the workshop, to drop off some goodies. A couple of days later, we met, at the workshop and the next couple of hours were filled with conversations about life over coffee and wrapping of the tokens of Gratitude. I remember it most because of the fact that they, both Shaurya and Romik, felt like family, like we’d all known each other forever and that day!

It is amazing, when, people come together and share of themselves so generously, making time from busy schedules to come on over and pack surprises!!

Here’s what he wrote to us!

While browsing through the newspaper on a particularly grouchy day before Christmas, I came across a random article on DeePositive, and the unusual yet amazing way by which Deepanjali and gang were spreading Christmas cheer around the city.

Intrigued, I decided to make my own little contribution and dragged my friend Romik to the address mentioned in the article, armed with random boxes of stuff that I purchased - including chocolates, wafers, biscuits, cakes etc.

We reached Santa's workshop just before 9 in the evening, it was probably 3-4 days before Christmas. It was pretty darn cold, as per usual (Delhi Decembers are famous for that).

So it was a welcome surprise to be enveloped in an unusual feeling of warmth as Romik and me gingerly strolled into the workshop. I realized why.

Cuz within seconds,we were welcomed by Deepanjali and her crew of elves, busy arranging, wrapping and packing random gifts with an infectious cackle here and a banter there, and it was possibly the spirit of the workshop that was the reason behind the warmth. It felt like home.

We were initially there to just donate our gifts and leave, but the charged atmosphere of that place was rather addictive, and difficult to resist.

We stayed back and wrapped and arranged gifts, meant for an alarmingly large fraction of the people of this city who might have never had the chance to unwrap a gift so far.

It was beyond amazing, and we were both humbled and elated after our time spent at the workshop.

 

Hands down, it was the best money I had spent in 2012. Worth every penny.

Each blessing counts, and I'm sure the occasional smile lighting up each and every one of those faces that had received a gift last Christmas contributed to my 2013 starting off on a happy note - and touchwood, it's been an incredible year so far!

I'm glad I could be a part of the Christmas cheer Deepanjali and DeePositive created - it helped me give back a minute fraction of what I've been blessed with so far. In return I got back a lot more than I could have ever imagined - well, peace of mind for starters, and a fancy trip to New York a few weeks ago as well ;)

I'm definitely looking forward to be a part of this year's workshop - and I'm sure Deepanjali's team will make sure that more than a hundred thousand people in the  city experience the simple joy of receiving and unwrapping a gift - something that us privileged people take for granted.

Intern to Entrepreneur Programme: The Internship

What holds the programme apart  from all internships is the path of the internship. There is a purpose for everything you’ll be doing. The idea of creating a detailed internship programme is to enable growth of an idea.

Ideas are all beautiful and wonderful, till they are tailor cut according to the personality of the person representing it. Some of the best ideas have to wait a little longer to match, it’s like being engaged to an idea that you marry once all the formalities of getting to know each other are complete. It’s a phenomenal journey, once you begin!

In the first 6 months of the internship each intern will be working on DeePositive Foundation initiatives and DeePositive Intertainment events.

Once part of the programme an Intern will be referred to as a DeePositive Entrepreneur, so as to build a brand centric personal reminder that you're an intern with a purpose and you are a part of the programme to grow into an entrepreneur.

While doing so, the intern will be empowered to create powerful ideas that help build the initiatives into mass movements with focus on how to use limited resources to build an idea into a reality. In the process, practical lessons in creating strategies, media push and using communication tools like blogs, Facebook and twitter to build campaigns. Planning the marketing, media and event will be part of the exercise of learning through the first 6 months. In these 6 months, there will also be weekly reviews and group discussions building your own business idea into a definitive shape. This process is even more powerful, when you are surrounded with the other interns. Working out your own idea in co-dependence with the rest of the interns to create a connected network of empowered enthusiastic growth

From the 6th -9th month of your internship, you will be given a team, a team of fresh interns to work with and train, this helps in understanding that the role of an entrepreneur is a leadership role and co-depends on your interaction and communication with your team. This is vital, since it is always a team that brings success to any project. It is also essential to learn to delegate from personal power to grow. It will be in this period that you will handle your first experiment with your business idea at a smaller scale, the platform available for you is DeePositive G.I.V.E and the concept will be co-tagged with "A _____________ concept"

From the 9th - 11th Month is when you're idea comes closer to reality, working on your own company, logo, communication, market strategy and detailing the first 3 years of your life as an entrepreneur. This is when you're now at the level of personal expansion. However, the most important learning of the phase will be a three level responsibility training, prioritizing, scaling up and being a master of many growth modules without being slave to any. Balance is the main criteria in managing your own company. As the brand custodian and ambassador, you are the NAME, FACE and PERSONALITY of your brand.

The 12th Month, is when we begin all the processes of registering your company, opening accounts, getting you ready for the greatest adventure of your life. This is the hardest month on the heart, you're setting yourself up for your first "Founder" experience. You will be working full time on the launch of your brand in the market! What a proud moment for the programme and for you.

13th Month, at the Festival of Gratitude, we will have a ceremony of acknowledging your milestones as a DeePositive Entrepreneur and then introduce you and your brand to the press and public.

When we began our journey as DeePositive Foundation in 2011, we had utmost faith in the intuit that Gratitude is the core ingredient of change!! Today, 2 years, 2 months and a couple of weeks later… we see how Gratitude is rippling into many areas of our lives, its only the beginning.

Miracles are happening everyday, reminding us that we’ve done well to follow our instinct and go with Gratitude and Grow with Gratitude. In a circumstantial world, Gratitude has made a co-inspired beginning… in rare moments of appreciation spreading across politics, people and priorities. Appreciation is finding its space and as we continue to invite ourselves to the powerful intent of gratitude inspired growth, there are people and places finding us and assisting us. There are small steps being taken, to expand our scope of work and show us the hurting areas, where, we can bring in the beginning of change with Gratitude.

At DeePositive, we’re thrilled to have been a catalyst in the many lives we interact with and create positive thoughts forward… it is encouraging to see the Government and Governance around the world, change their stance… Gratitude is now entering many lives and creating positive changes. Even though the steps are tiny and we’re only toddling, we know that the universe is guiding us towards a deeper more practical life changing experiences with Gratitude as the core foundational need.

We’re asking ourselves, just as much as asking you, how we can be messengers of a Global Gratitude Movement, with the intent and purpose to assist the world to sample gratitude as a way of life and an abundant source of miracles. with 4 brand new projects created with Gratitude for the joy of expanding the reach of gratitude to a larger community of people, we’re renewing our thrill, through many different experiences all intended as always to trigger a ripple of gratitude and appreciation, the key to creating an India for India.

It is exciting, when the Government is moving to a co-inspired growth plan, inclusive, this is a sign of the changing times. The Pope, resigning in the best interest of the Catholic Church, is a deeper return to “what is best for the whole” not “what is best for me”. The fact that Devang of the BJP agrees with Sachin from the Congress on the need to put aside personal and party differences and do what needs to get done to improve India… made me feel so connected, so grateful. Even if these are just TINY signs, the truth is, we can choose to recognise these tiny signs, celebrate them, make them examples and get into the zone, where the Press/Media too find it exciting to AMPLIFY such rare moments, when two people, agree, beyond party differences and positions. People MUST be acknowledged and appreciated for ONE GOOD THING… to begin a phenomenal chain of GOOD THINGS to APPRECIATE!

Its even more exciting, when we get messages of victory through Gratitude from our friends an associates, so many people having life changing experiences and attributing them to Gratitude is amazing and encouraging. The “idea” that once was discounted for simply being too “ideal” to be true is now, growing into a party of miracles and happy manifesting moments of absolute thrill… gratitude has given so many a brand new perspective with awesome results. It is growing now from being local to us and growing global!! Well, I’ll need a book, if I have to share all the stories with you. 

We’re in for exciting times in an ever changing world, even though it is true, that we live in a hurting world, a world struck by pain, grief and loss of humanity. Here is what we must acknowledge, each incident is moving us to make new choices and most importantly, it is moving us to be more aware of our need to belong to a safer world. I am still not sure, how we can achieve any of this without proudly standing by each other and raising the need for personal clarity of being first. However, it is significant, that we all are coming together in thought. All of us want a safer world, now that we do, as a people, we’ll opt for choices that make us feel safer and when we share this with each other, we’ll begin a brand new process of learning to stand together in Gratitude and find simple ways to impact our intent with action. Protests can be made an opportunity to come together to create a greater awareness of the power of positive coming together, almost like meeting up in really large numbers to celebrate personal victory of being alive.

Santa Workshop: My Story… By Ruma Bhingardive

Am sharing a an article, written by Ruma on Santa Workshop. Gave me Goosebumps when I read it. It is always wonderful to say wonderful things about projects that we create, we do create them with a lot of love. And then there comes a time, like this one, when someone shares their experience of it… and you’re moved to a place of silent and utter gratitude, that you’ve rippled your thoughts so perfectly and now they radiate back to you, through the eyes and heart of those who have experienced and experimented with the intent. A gal meets boy and there is love, old Story. A gal meets boy and there is gratitude, hmmm that’s a new story. Let us ponder more on the new story then (wink).

This is how I recollect my brushing shoulders with DeePositive Foundation for the first time. The journey till date has been the most enthralling; adventurous and satisfying one and I strongly believe that in years to come the world will see the real power of “GRATITUDE”.

I would love to share few of the amazing experiences with you all. Ashok Singh was the first person to introduce me to DeePositive Foundation and to mention their belief in Gratitude, Love, Faith, Sharing / Give. I still remember getting goose bumps while listening about “Santa Workshop” and thinking how I too can become a part of it (as I was in Mumbai and it was going to happen in Delhi). Starting to feel the excitement and the adrenaline rush through my veins, I decided instantly that this is my chance to do what I have been wishing to do from so long but without any platform, guidance, like minded people, common goal, I had found it always difficult to put in deeds what I had in heart and mind.

DeePositive Foundation through Santa Workshop just happened one fine day like God knocking on door and blessing me with the opportunity to spread the good news and gratitude starting from friends, family and spreading to strangers. I often used to hear that it is a small world, post 2 Santa Workshop’s I have started believing in the same. I was able to spread the word with my family, friends, neighbours, FB, acquaintances, colleagues and like a jungle fire it just spread wildly across cities and countries. The ripple effect was better that I imagined.

In my view and understanding Santa Workshop is a spectacular way of saying Thank You! Your smile means a lot!

Santa Workshop as a whole enwraps the following amazing virtues.

It is magnetic- Yes it is like a magnet. It attracts everyone instantly with the idea of distributing gifts. Everyone gets to become a Santa giving away beautifully wrapped useful gifts as small tokens of gratitude. The gifts are wrapped amongst fun and frolic by tiny or big hands and distributed on roads, signals, markets, to wish thanks to strangers, people whose efforts go unnoticed in the society. The passers-by, street urchins and many burst in smiles on receiving the cute tokens.

It is Secular-anyone can be a part of it no matter which caste, creed, nationality, religion you belong to. You are all the same in the Santa Workshop family.

It is for all ages-the Santa workshop pictures say it all, have a look and you shall find that children aged from 2-3 years to grannies and grandpas are the active members and share the same level of enthusiasm during wrapping and distribution.

It is thanksgiving-whatever gifts and blessings we have received throughout the year in our life we try to give thanks to god by gifting some to people who need them and moreover it is not charity it is sharing.

It is support sharing-we share thoughts, ideas, vision, smiles, laughs, food, peace and gifts.

It is love sharing-we share the love of god and love towards humans and humanity in a unique way.

It is giving selflessly –we give out a share from our salary our savings our time to make someone else happy and expecting nothing in return.

It is for smile sharing- we always smile while we wrap, while we distribute and those who receive smile back at us.

It is peace giving-I found peace is associating virtually with DeePositive and Santa Workshop. I was not there physically but emotionally, mentally I was present their everyday since it started, am sure my friends from Mumbai and all over who helped have received inner peace too.

It is for all-no matter if you are rich or poor-you can join in and reap the benefits -the forum is truly by the people, for the people and of the people.

It is forever-it is a perpetual chain reaction. We know we are blessed and we share our blessings in form of gifts with known and unknown people. The proof is that it was Dee’s dream and idea with germinated and branched with Ashok, Prema and since then has multiplied and grown in geometrical progression (proving many wrong and disbeliefs too rest). No offence to the mud slingers.LOL.

It is universal-Many people have come together breaking boundaries of cities, states, countries to join hands for Santa Workshop. It is a global phenomenon in a few weeks.

It the most amazing working model that I have ever seen where input is gratitude and output is multifold gratitude. It doesn’t just work with men (volunteers), money (sponsorship), material (gifts), market (place where distribution happens) it works on faith , belief, emotions, trust, love and gratitude as well.

For me assisting with Santa Workshop and DeePositive foundation has been like being in B School. In B school you come together, you learn to envison, you learn to plan strategically, you work on projects, you learn leadership, you learn to become a team player, you learn decision making, you take lead, you decide, you execute and ultimately you succeed. We all know that the B –Schools are the place where we network and we know that this network will always be with us even after we graduate and no matter where in world we stay. Similarly at Santa Workshop we get to network with peers, juniors, seniors from various industries and walks of life. There is cut throat competition in gift wrapping and distribution as who gets to wrap more and who gets to distribute more and one gets amazed at how the funds get influxed (funds don’t come from the people whom you expected from , it comes from people whom you never expected from).

So creating a whole dynamic of social centric values Santa Workshop thrives on love towards fellow human beings and gratitude towards god and people.

Since I have joined hands with the Santa Workshop team and the movement in whole I network with smiling faces all round the year and as we all know 75000 gifts became 225000 this year which shows tremendous potential and a spark of global awakening.

The web world doesn’t know the boundaries of countries anymore. Santa Workshop success is spread through word of mouth and FB mostly and with the growing alliances with the movement. The more gratitude I get the more I share; it is a never ending process as it is not related to a person, a thing or a single organization. It incepts in a single heart, runs on face with a smile, it has been found to be really contagious as it flows from one hand to another and one heart to another.

There is no stopping of this free flowing river till gratitude is alive.

So Live with Gratitude and Give with Gratitude.

Social Gaming Sunday!!

As part of our concept G.I.V.E (Gratitude.Inspired.Vision.Exchange) we’ve collaborated with a brand called “Frame Gaming” to introduce, “Social Gaming Sunday”. Our pilot took place last evening and I must admit, I loved it!!! It takes a lot of spunk to walk into a world where games are played at many levels to assist non gamers to see how gaming can and has changed lives without having to plot

The concept revolves around connecting with the child within, so competitive, I realised it when all I wanted to do was WIN a game!! It is interesting, that the adult mind, goes to sleep and a child is born, chatting a little, playing a lot, just hanging out. When we met the Team from  Frame Gaming two  weeks ago, we were truly drawn to their outlook on gaming. Professional gamers who are passionate, exciting gang of gamers, who have grown in their passion to make a business out of it. When we discussed gaming, I felt that it would be a super gift of Gratitude to take it out for a spin so, we recommended “social gaming weekends” as a foray into gaming bringing people together onground and introducing the really people behind the gamer profiles on social networks and internet in general.

The venue, Café Ground Zero, not the kind of place I would’ve found without directions and yet, a place where I would hang out with friends. The little underground space, filled with people hanging out over sheesha and mocktails and 4 gaming consoles. The space, beautiful with bean bags and apt seating and funky dudes and dudettes, then again, maybe it’s the buzzing sda market that gets credit for all of this. A must try at the café, the Honey Chilli Potatoes, it is addictive… I would give the taco’s a miss, somehow, they don’t make you “want more”.

Most gamers (purely online for gaming) are an interesting lot, behind those hardcore profile pictures and updates. They’re these wonderful people who are inspired by the spirit of the game and their commitment to the game that helps them develop an online persona that is formidable and when you meet them, they’re these shy and filled with ideas personalities. It is also interesting that when you absorb or listen to their understanding of games, the insights are brilliant! You know, we’ll get them to you sooner that you think… Frame Gaming, will deliver some gaming delights over the next couple of months.

It is going to be an interesting journey, being a part of their “change gaming” with  “frame gaming”… exciting times ahead…

Gratitude creates from Thought!

Gratitude is all about creating from thought and living in the now of things. We have learnt it through our experience, working with Gratitude the entire year. Not everyday is a Sunny day, yet the clouds have a story to tell.

Our initiatives and associations have taught us that there is a pandora’s box of “things to be done” to assist ourselves and others to live in Gratitude! That surely does not mean that we give away all that we have, resign to a life under a lamp-post and live on CHARITY! Gratitude allows us the incredible power to connect with all that we have and expand our thoughts to expand our reality. It isn’t about CHARITY… Gratitude is about CLARITY!!

When we meet people we learn new “thoughts” and how they’re becoming “things”… we learn something new about how to assist them to assist ourselves from the “no” we learn to generate new ideas of “how" and from the “yes” we learn that there are new people we have reached! Personally, I have learnt to detach from words and attach to the feeling that I experience in communication.

We all live in a bubble of information that affects and effects change, to choose from the options presented to us, it is imperative that we understand and consume with a deeper awareness of goodness. Even though, I agree, there is more of not so good that surrounds us, there is a personal choice we make that is, at the speed of thought, converting into our realities… and it is scary to see where we’re headed!!

Keep it a simple practice in your life to SMILE at every opportunity, it is the simplest way to stay positive. Yes! Even in times, when your personal world trembles… there is still scope to smile!! A smile, is your way of keeping away the negative KNOWINGS and INFORMATION!! A smile is a powerful tool in balancing thought. Think about it this way, when you smile, you’re sending your brain a signal to attract only a corresponding effect. Your words soften and your emotions begin to settle. You are consciously making a NEW choice to stay positively manifesting a new OUTCOME! This is a brilliant way to stay a THOUGHT AT A TIME Positive and remain in a neutral space of reaction, without totally negating the circumstance presented to you.

Another add on to smiling is the practiced ability to say “thank you”!! Thank you acknowledges the present and presents you with a pause to make a new choice forward. Look back at the moments in your life, when you’ve said “thank you” to someone, for something and with a smile. In that moment you acknowledge the very NOW of that moment with Gratitude. For most people, it is in that moment, that all else has faded and the choices born from Gratitude are presented, for a new choice to be made… and this choice, well, is a confidence booster!! Words split and invite a brand new meaning and this meaning… in my personal experience, Thank You has invited a plethora of new feelings and meanings to different words!!

Take time today to create a new tomorrow… smile… you know you are creating and don’t forget to say “thank you” often enough to feel the magic work within you and through you!!

 

10150 tokens of light… filling the space between GIVING and RECEIVING

When we decided to experiment with Santa Workshop Diwali, we intended to let the LIGHT we were celebrating guide us! We knew, that this wasn’t any ordinary intent, we understood that it wouldn’t be easy… yet we said… “let’s spread light” and YES, we were surprised… joyfully… at how much we got to learn from this one experiment… we set a new trend, a little silently… as people celebrated the festival of lights all around the city and gifts were exchanging hearts and hands at the frequency of light…

At the centre we were wrapping up “tokens of light”, smiling away, singing… knowing it was all going to be very special, this year… there was going to be a new beginning for all of us. We knew, that in the melee of celebrations, there are still some who GIVE with so much joy… we knew that there were some truly special people, who’d love to GIVE, especially during Diwali… So, I picked up the phone on Murphy Raphael John… a dear friend and the President of R.O.P.I.O Foundation… and asked, if his team… would like to play Santa for Diwali and spread “tokens of light” in the city!! What I got… was a BIG “YES” and that is where it all began

Like every new concept, we did find our famous question marks and we did find our blank expressions and we did find so many people who said “why”… in the middle of the melee we found three very special people… Manni & Pooja & Rahul … all of whom said “yes” with enthusiasm. And we were on with Santa Workshop|Tokens of Light!!

The Workshop was an experience… filled with Light & Love! We wrapped 10,000 gifts and then went out distributing… this time, we got very confused looking people… who, once we chatted with… did smile! People were surprised to get little gifts, especially since they don’t associate Diwali with free gifts from strangers, much less a foundation. It is amazing, how excited people get when they receive and the richer experience is really for the children who play Santa… the empowered giving is something we can learn from. They don’t see the WHO of the receivers, they’re just super excited to be giving.

One of our Santa’s Ajay of R.O.P.I.O did find it a little strange, he was worried about people’s reactions and the fear of rejection… natural. Well, says a lot about the truth, that people are scared of receiving just as much as they are of giving. And especially, when it comes without a condition. The smiles, with which we distribute, in my understanding is the fine line that needs to be crossed by the receivers. Then came the idea, to spread the light through the one place, where people go to buy literature that will change their lives and a resounding yes from “Teksons Bookshop” made it possible for us to share the light and love with people who read… in this way creating a parallel example for them to experience Gratitude and Intent, that we all wish to learn and master. The grandest surprise, well, when my dear friend, Veer Suklecha, initiated a mini workshop in Mumbai… it gives me great joy to see the expansion of a small effort… that people were moved to experiment and experience the magic. Mumbai is where I was born, my deep intent, was to have this workshop in Mumbai too!! Manifested through a friend!! As I write this piece I am filled with a sense of AWE… watching an idea, complete itself and teach me to continue to do the work I do… It is a GIFT to follow a less trodden path… and it is priceless to RECEIVE,  everything I needed for completion… and I still feel there is so much to learn… so much to go L.I.V.E with… and the most important of all… WE HAVE SO MUCH WE MUST DO… to assist people to GIVE and RECEIVE!

Giving isn’t about the Have, Have Nots and the Have a lot! Giving isn’t about shades of grey, here we are, clearing the air, teaching some how to give and still others how to receive and we do all of this to create a more gratitude filled knowing, that it is still possible to receive without tags or cash commitments. We are so grateful for the people who contribute to the cause to make it possible for us, so, it is a fact, that there are generous givers, who enable the process and share of their have’s for others to receive. What a brilliant way to create again a sense of SURPRISE and a deeper knowing, that everything isn’t simply taken away from us… we do receive!!! And the question really is… “ARE WE OPEN TO RECEIVE”

As I look back at the learning of this workshop, a workshop you can surely look forward to NEXT year… a larger number of givers and receivers… shall come together to create more Gratitude. We have much to learn about receiving as we do about giving. The one core ingredient that makes it all possible is our Gratitude for what we already have and all that we’ll ever want… we must be ready to RECEIVE as well as GIVE!

There is so much not right with our world, everyday, we have enough news to let us know that. Then again, someday, on some street, there will be someone who hands you a tiny gift and wishes you light and love and in accepting this gift, you accept GOODNESS, for the intent that the funds were raised, the gifts wrapped and the warmth with which they are given… is an indication that God is watching out to GIVE to you and maybe, just maybe, you have forgotten how to RECEIVE!

National Children’s Parliament: August 3rd–5th 2012

 

When Murphy Raphael John came to speak to me about the National Children’s Parliament initiative… I remember it was the night of the opening o f the Olympics 2012!!! I remember our conversation… two animated characters… sharing thoughts, reviewing ideas!! The one most appealing and exciting quality I love about Murph… is his enthusiasm and I can tell you … it is CONTAGIOUS!!!

Our special relationship began with Santa Workshop… and to this day we admire the vision we share… our paths are very different, yet the goal is the same… to create powerful moments of personal growth and empowerment for those people who connect with our vision. I find it so exciting each time we exchange ideas and vision!! It is amazing energy!! So, before the Olympic ceremony began… We were already excited about being a part of the National Children’s Parliament in any way that we could… the pleasure and experience, we knew was all ours!! Getting closer, our group was revealed…. “Behavioral Changes”, guess, we knew WHY!!! At DeePositive, it has been our excitement to assist and inspire a NEW THOUGHT forward and our core ingredient, well, GRATITUDE!!! One behaviour change, we know should go viral is GRATITUDE!! Once Gratitude is invited, the rest of the experience is a growth, physically, mentally and spiritually! There is more than enough awareness of WHAT IS NOT RIGHT.

    

Meeting up with the children, a thrill… seeking minds, thinking minds and open minds, craving a new future… yet, so engrossed in the ADULT VISION that they needed to be prodded to speak their age, be their age and live their age. As a grown woman, I can promise you, that being 16 is beautiful when you’re simply being 16. For a lot of us, the want or need to grow up was so upon us, that we’re living 16 at 35 and loving it!! Knowing that we can balance the madness, because the choices we made then, were informed, we lived 16 and loved being 16 and now, we can still dip into being 16 without forgetting that 35 has its specialness too!

Children speaking harshly about politics and using language that they’ve inherited from adult communication is an alarming signal and should be taken pretty seriously… if their unbiased minds is filled with the hate that we so comfortably express as adults, we’re raising a TIME BOMB future for our country. It is essential for CHILDREN to speak their age, love it and learn to be it!!! It is our job as adults to prepare them to take charge of the future of INDIA!! The workshop was an eye-opener… most children reflected a MEDIA point of view… somewhere, in the harsh reality of their LIFE EXPERIENCES is a bitterness, that reflects in their speech. Sarcasm and Judgmental in their approach to peers and seniors reflects more on their exposure to CORRECT than be CORRECTED.

     

The conversation as part of the group… I was more keen to let the children conclude and in the conclusion, achieve a new thought forward, that was simple… a simple and doable act… that can begin the process of inviting a larger audience to a behavioral change… we took the problems and tried to calculate WHO THE SOLUTION IS… and the children, to our happy surprise concluded that any behavioral change in society begins with a personal decision to CHANGE!!! So, as a group we decided to SMILE and say THANK YOU more often and share this simple BEHAVIORAL CHANGE at different levels of relationships in our lives. Something, only a child can advocate and a child can create something even more beautiful as a part of the future of this country.

On Day II it was ACTIVITIES and we took up two… Ashok and I took the workshop for ad making and Evelyn took the Choreography workshop!!! Fun, yes, we actually had a chance to assist the children convert their conversations of Day I and create memories on Day II!! Surprising, the children who were making ads had absorbed some vital key points that they chose to ADVOCATE on day II… In my memory, there were these two boys who were from the group CHILD ABUSE and their main recall from the previous day was the number 1098 which is the helpline for children!! There were some that HEARD but didn’t listen, absorbed by their need for recognition and so, their first WORD forward was to CHALLENGE and CONTRADICT themselves, something they must’ve picked up watching the parliamentary sessions on TV… where everyone wants to speak and NO ONE CAN ACTUALLY BE HEARD!! What came across as a learning from the children is that their need to be RIGHT was more important than them understanding HOW TO BE RIGHT!

     

More importantly, we learned, that we would like to be a part of a multitude of children’s lives, we want to assist them in being children and loving everyday of their growing years. We’ve all had our share of challenges while growing up, some helped us grow faster and still others kept the child alive and celebrating. I guess, our exposure to MEDIA HATE CAMPAIGNS were much less or for the more KNOWING ones like ME… I chose, very early to experience life as it unfolded, looking rarely towards the television or internet (more so because we were not exposed to it) to form an opinion about PEOPLE without understanding their experiences first.

What is heartening and creates so much excitement, is the fact that, children absorb pretty intensely that which we give them in terms of information, it is important for us to be extremely aware of our communication, to ensure that we are in fact, passing on THAT WHICH assists them in CREATING a BETTER world not a BITTER world view!

Day III was a day to celebrate the voices of children and as exciting as it gets, my heart rejoiced to see how 4 kids who worked with us on Day I and Day II, made it to the Parliament and shared the dias with a real time MLA… For us it is God’s way of letting us know that our work with Children, which began with R.O.P.I.O Foundation at Santa Workshop a DeePositive Foundation initiative is leading us to a brand new area of work in which we are but meant to INITIATE A NEW THOUGHT!!! The most exciting part of day III is when Hemani from our group spoke about behavioural changes and her speech as a citizen was acknowledged by MLA Rajesh… most importantly, it wasn’t a speech we assisted her in writing, she spoke with confidence, using her learnings of the last two days as part of her speech!!! It is amazing, how much you can learn from  children… if you ALLOW them the FREEDOM to speak their age and live it.

We are of the opinion that we need more initiatives like the National Children’s Parliament, which gives us the opportunity to work with children and in a very insane way, visit ourselves as children again… remember… how we once wanted to make a difference in the way the world thinks… an opportunity… that comes from a chance to connect as children with children and lead a generation to a whole new THOUGHT FORWARD!!!

My Greed: A Gratitude filled life!!

I dream of a world filled with so much gratitude, that when a problem arrives… and we know it will, we use the power of a Grateful Knowing instead of Hateful Showing. For generations before us, there have been issues and hurt… there has also been a deep awareness of faith!!

We speak of a deep faith, yet, when a problem arrives, we move to a place of judgment and live from the energy it creates within us. That energy is becoming a greater reality and we are of the impression, that these external circumstances are OUTSIDE ourselves!! We don’t even have the slightest inkling of HOW we contribute to CREATING this energy.

Shrink your universe and you’ll know, that often, your THOUGHT, which is in REACTION to your ABSORBING of ENERGY these circumstances create… is the big “YES” you send into the universe to either punish the offenders or defend the oppressed! It is easy to get drawn into the world drama of how “THE END IS NEAR” and the signs we see all tell us it is TRUE!! Yet, the ONLY one who can change it all my dear friend is YOU!!!

I have found it difficult myself to STOP long enough to choose a thought forward, with PRACTICE however, it is possible to find a more grateful stance to a vibration that causes us to be drawn to a more hateful disposition.

It isn’t easy, I must admit, to CLOSE out the BAD and FOCUS on the GOOD alone!! Then again, when you follow your dreams… the negatives are often the force that assists you in Marching FORWARD with more confidence? The power of positive projection, comes from a regular practice of Gratitude. In order for YOU to stay practicing, you invite many challenges that are quite the opposite, instead of looking at them as BLOCKS, recognise them as “PRACTICE SESSIONS”

I remember, last year, when I created Santa Workshop… I had many people who reminded me, that it was a mad effort, some told me it is impossible, could have legal implications. Some saw it as a “MONEY MAKING RACKET” and still others kept projecting it as a CHARITY event. In my heart, I knew, that the INTENT was to spread a little gratitude to those who aren’t often RECOGNISED as vital contributors to our everyday life. I kept THANKING for every little N.U.D.G.E in the direction of completion. I felt ALONE and I cried… I cried to JESUS… knowing that this was a test of my INTENT. I received the KNOWLEDGE that ONLY THOSE with MATCHING INTENT, would find their way to the project. Had the REJECTIONS affected my INTENT, maybe, today, SANTA WORKSHOP would still only be an IDEA!! I KNEW the INTENT was pure and from the purity of intent, the project drew unto itself, Dedicated.Enthusiastic.Empowered.Positive people and results. I knew in my heart… that this is exactly what we had set out to achieve… and it was bettered with GOD’s grace.

I had to think of all the sources that brought me to “DOUBT”, make a CHOICE to let them STRAY or STAY and ASK for DIVINE INTELLIGENCE to guide my next steps. COMMITTING the project to GRATITUDE was all it took to START!! So, practically, GOD gave me an experience, of GRATITUDE in ACTION!!

Gratitude, comes with a plethora of CHALLENGES to CHOOSE from and it is UPTO YOU… to make that CHOICE. The question I’ve often heard in my head in a CHALLENGE is… HOW CAN I BE GRATEFUL FOR THIS? I feel the void the challenge creates and sometimes it can be an abyss!! I recognise that the CHOICE I make will determine the OUTCOME… and so, I retreat into the KNOWINGNESS that GOD HAS ME COVERED… and ASK GOD, for GUIDANCE! Then I THANK with all my heart… for the KNOWING of the PAIN and the EXCITEMENT that GOD is going to respond to me!!! It all happens in GOD’S TIME… and everything is SET IN PLACE for me to CELEBRATE, COMPLETION.

There are also times, when I am super excited about something, I know that I am meant to take a step… yet, my DOUBTS are sometimes far stronger… I spend time in GRATITUDE for the DOUBTS… for GRATITUDE is REVEALING to me through my DOUBT, that I may have LEFT OUT someone or something that I should’ve considered as part of my GRATITUDE!! DOUBTS, are GOD’S way of making us AWARE, that this particular issue/situation has another possible CHOICE, that we haven’t taken into consideration. To WAIT for GUIDANCE and have FAITH that GOD is orchestrating the PERFECT result, for the BEST POSSIBLE OUTCOME!! Last year, when we were finding a home for Santa Workshop, I remember, wanting to finalise a place in Chattarpur, which, till 4 days before, in my mind was the perfect place… yet, when I did go to meet the personnel, I felt out of alignment, out of Gratitude… I remember, walking out of the meeting and knowing for sure… that I didn’t want our Santa Workshop to be in that space… Suddenly… Santa Workshop didn’t have a HOME!! I prayed that night, knowing GOD had a better plan… and I felt the LOVE OF GOD, embrace me… letting me know, that he is leading me… and the next morning, I met Fr. Stanley…. and Santa Workshop had a home… Yusuf Sadan

I feel like the whole world could do with a little Gratitude and this is only possible once we can begin to see how Gratitude is working in our lives… WE really do need to get a little GREEDY for GRATITUDE!!!

Today, all I ask you to do… is to look back at your entire life… and take a note of MOMENTS YOU are GRATEFUL FOR.. and WANT MORE!!!

Four Directional protection is my intent and desire… 1) from above that I may receive 2) to the left where my past experiences rest 3) to the right where my future experiences expand 4) Below me, my present moment where I am.

Five senses direct my awareness, 1) the sense of sight 2) The sense of listening 3) the sense of smell 4) the sense of taste 5) the sense of touch

Sixth sense, the sense in which I balance my 5 senses, this sense is the guidance I receive from my super conscious in accordance to my choices

the balance of Seven energy centres that are aligned divinely by my asking that I may continue to find within, the motivation and inspiration I need to co-create. 1) the root chakra 2) the sacral chakra 3) the solar plexis chakra 4) the heart chakra 5) the throat chakra 6) the third eye chakra 7) the crown

As I raise my intent to heaven, I ask you to to now, breathe deeply and allow each energy to be raised with gratitude to a brand new experience of I AM in your life today and always!!

For the promise is given to those who CLAIM it!!

The Co-Inspired Life: “Reverse Gratitude”

I had a very high vibration experience, with what I now choose to call “Reverse Gratitude” on three different occasions in the last couple of weeks. The sense of balancing life’s events that once were painful memories… that I have decided that I can now share it with YOU.

How, every incident/Occurrence in our lives is meant for a purpose, to teach us something. More often than not… if we haven’t reached the lesson, acknowledged and accepted the purpose the incident was meant to serve… we continue hurting. And we all don’t really want to hurt.. now… or in the future!! Do we?

Then again, to be able to acknowledge it, we must bring to our awareness the truth of the WHY of the event. The truth, can only be revealed when we accept it as an event in which we can find a reason to be grateful for the occurrence. Some memories, have multiple WHY’s… each WHY a lesson!! So, while I prepare a whole technique, which you will be able to read in “The Co-Inspired Life”, my second book!! Here’s a pilot… to help you help me by Co-Inspiring the COMPLETE “Reverse Gratitude” module!!

Here’s how to begin the process

1) Do this when you have 21 minutes of YOU time OR you have a partner you can do this with, sharing with someone, can bring up even more powerful memories of Gratitude!

2) Think about a which area of your life you would like to heal the past  of to create a brand new experience NOW:

a) Relationships b) Profession c) Social d) Family e) Finances f) Personal etc..

3) Now find one THOUGHT that makes you feel a sense of gratitude. Let’s take RELATIONSHIPS… You could choose one particular relationship… or a community relationship. Even if the memories hurt… and they will… find ONE MEMORY from all of them that does make you smile. Just ONE

RIGHT NOW I AM MOST GRATEFUL FOR________

4) Now begin to trace backwards… all the events that led to this MOMENT of Gratitude!!

a) who introduced you… there maybe multiple sources… through whom you met!! Express your Gratitude to those people… events… memories.

5) How did you meet those people… who introduced you?? go back… to that moment… you’ll find it amusing that your memories… will take you places People, events, moments…  that will make you smile.

6) As you continue to “thank in reverse order” you will realise, that some of the events you ONCE found painful to remember… are really the KEY events that you did not connect with as part of your gratitude.

7) Keep asking yourself questions as you float backwards with Gratitude. Here are some that can help you dig deeper :

a) What was happening in that memory? and thank for it.

b) Who was in this memory with me? and be grateful for them.

c) How did I get to this particular memory? what happened that led to this particular event? and be grateful for the trigger!!! 

To cut the story short… so that you can begin your own “REVERSE GRATITUDE” …. here’s what I am most Grateful for RIGHT NOW in my life….

If my parents hadn’t SEPARATED when I was 5… I wouldn’t have been here… sharing this phenomenal technique with you
